Apromo Trading Award for Excellence in Patisserie scholarships

Apromo Trading has announced it will sponsor two new annual scholarships, for two Stage 2 Non-Apprentice students continuing into Certificate IV Patisserie training at William Angliss Institute Melbourne campus. The sponsorship is worth up to $1000 each, to support patisserie students.

In announcing the scholarships, Nick Page (our General Manager Victoria) explained how proud and pleased Apromo Trading is to support new patisserie chefs and also to to continue to support the William Angliss Institute.

Angela Tsimiklis (William Angliss Institute program leader patisserie) said the scholarships would be awarded to passionate and committed students who were experiencing financial hardship.
“It is wonderful for an industry-leading supplier to help enable these students to finish their studies and complete the Certificate IV – Patisserie,” she said.
William Angliss Institute’s Certificate IV Patisserie offers students the benefits of on-site training in commercial kitchens, real restaurants and working with experts in their field. Students gain extensive skills and knowledge about creative pastry techniques and pastry fundamentals including studying units on Gateaux, Petit fours, Plated desserts and chocolate and sugar decorations.
“These skills provide opportunities and pathways for students to find roles in leading hotels, restaurants and boutique patisseries around the world,” Angela said.
