We are off to Europe seeking new products to bring to Australia. Each year a few of us attend trade fairs in Europe and visit various suppliers.
Sirha exhibition, the world hospitality and food service trade fair is late January in Lyon, France. Here we will focus on patisserie and chocolate products.
ISM 2015 in Colonge, Germany we will view finished confectionery products, looking for new items for our retailers and monitoring trends.
We will also visit other suppliers who do not attend these trade fairs, including in Belgium. These trips are an investment in product and industry knowledge, and allow us to build relationships with suppliers. Such expertise is what we can offer to our customers in Australia. So, once we have returned, ask us what we found over there, as new product will be arriving in containers not too long after.
