Emmanuel Mollois, corporate pastry chef with PatisFrance, visited during February 2016 to work with Apromo Trading and its clients, visiting several sites in Sydney and Melbourne.
While at Apromo Trading head office at Rhodes, Emmanuel ran training for staff. Attending were team members from management, reception, admin, sales and IT, to increase and support general product knowledge. Such ongoing technical support enhances Apromo Trading’s ability to promote and support our imported products into the Australian market. Emmanuel reported on his experiments and product testing of PatisFrance preparations. Particularly, he explained how to select the best product to recommend depending upon the client’s processes. Some products are tolerant of variations in temperature, mixing times, humidity, ovens, etc. Some products require almost laboratory precision in their application. Understanding how the preparations behave when used in deserts and cakes helps staff match the best product to a client aiming for particular results.
During his visit to Australia, Emmanuel visited some of our customers to outline what products are new to the PatisFrance range or will suit the customer’s current menu. This involved much baking and decorating in client kitchens.
Over the past 12 months PatisFrance has introduced many new items which Apromo Trading has added to the range imported to Australia.
