Thank you to all our customers and suppliers who supported us exhibiting at this year’s Fine Food Fair. We enjoyed another successful fair with many new contacts interested in our products and demonstrations. Many of our existing customers appreciated the opportunity to learn more about our wide range of products and to enrich their knowledge of the key products for their businesses.

Fine Food Australia is a trade only event which ran from Monday 11th September 2017 to Thursday 14th September 2017 at the new International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney. Trade fairs such as Fine Food Australia bring together people from the many stages along the supply chain from manufacturers to end users. It is nice to put faces to email signatures, and wonderful to deepen the knowledge of all who participate. We at Apromo Trading invest significant effort in preparing and presenting our brands at this and other trade fairs.

We enjoyed presenting products to customers so they see, smell and taste the products, rather than just seeing pictures in a catalogue. We also gave away many samples to taste on the stand and to take home for further testing.

We operated 2 separate stands at the fair, one focussing on retail and one focussing on ingredients and food service.

Our Retail Stand

At our Retail Stand we hosted:
Lorcan Connolly from Butlers Chocolates and Nigel Arnett and Robert Arnett from Cartwright and Butler
Our stand also had a strong emphasis on featuring Walkers Nonsuch Toffee and Willies Cacao chocolate bars, as well as presenting many of our other brands.

Caramelita:
Dobla dark chocolate truffle shell filled with a caramel ganache (BEL400) dipped in dark bitter chocolate (BEL740) rolled in Croc In nougatine ( crushed)

Passion Delight:
Passion fruit mousse using Belcolade milk chocolate (BEL3×5) and Crop’s passionfruit purée (CRO012)
Glazed with Patisfrance white chocolate glaze (PTF1775) , Cold Mirror (PTF2456) and Decorelief colour , sitting on a disc of nougatine using Croc In Nougatine
Decorated with Dobla decoration splash if available if not Daisy white (DOB77049)

Strawberry cuppa:
Dobla coffee cup dark (DOB11261) filled with a coulis gélifié using Patisfrance Starfix IP40 (PTF1571) and Crop’s strawberry purée (CRO019) topped with a Belcolade bitter chocolate ganache (BEL740)
Decorated with a Dobla decoration Daisy white or PTF Patisomalt (PTF0629)

Triple chocolate friand:
Patisfrance frianvit (PTF3879) filled with Belcolade dark drop (BEL501) topped with a Belcolade caramel ganache (BEL400) and finished with a Dobla chocolate decoration curvy elegance dark (DOB77038)

Red Sea:
Tart shell (LBSW80) filled with a Belcolade bitter chocolate ganache (BEL740) topped with a raspberry mousse using Belcolade milk chocolate (BEL3×5) and Crop’s raspberry purée (CRO016)
Glazed with Patisfrance chocolate miroir plus (PTF0632) finished with a Dobla chocolate decoration
