Karim Bourgi Masterclass With Dobla Decorations

Pastry chef Karim Bourgi taught a masterclass for the Australian Patisserie Academy at the Ryde Campus of TAFE NSW in Sydney. From Wednesday 4th to Saturday 7th October 2017 he taught the production of 20 pastry creations to the 12 students attending his masterclass. Being held at Ryde, it was very close to Apromo Trading’s head office. Apromo Trading was happy to supply Dobla decorations for use in the classes. We are proud to see such beautiful applications of these Dobla products and to support the education of enthusiastic students.
The course concluded on Saturday with a presentation of the cakes and desserts made over the 4 days. Guy Roose attended to represent Apromo Trading. He reports the approximately 40 creations were very impressive and nice to taste.

Karim Bourgi is a well known Lebanese pastry chef based in Dubai, and a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Paris. His impressive career includes working at La Cigale in Beirut, Ladurée Paris Champs-Elysées, Makyan Traiteur, Gou Beirut, Fauchon Paris in Dubai, head pastry chef of Al Mana Group, and regional development and creation chef for La Maison du Chocolat Paris in GCC. As well as being chef, teacher, and consultant, he is a Dobla Ambassador so is very familiar with Dobla chocolate decorations.
