Mise en Place 2018 Sydney

Gault & Millau host annual Mise en Place events around Australia which Apromo Trading is proud to support. At the Sydney and Melbourne events we exhibit and run masterclasses. Mise en Place are trade only events for restaurant professionals to meet suppliers creating opportunities for each to learn and be inspired.
The Sydney 2018 Mise en Place was held Monday 14th May at the Ovolo Hotel in Woolloomooloo
Apromo Trading Technical Support Manager and pastry chef, Dominique Van Droogenbroeck presented a masterclass teaching an impressive but achievable dessert from Belcolade and Dobla ingredients. Several other Apromo Trading team members supported the masterclass by assisting students. It was very much a hands on experience for the students.
Presentations at the event included nominations for the various awards. Apromo Trading is proud to be sponsor the award Pastry Chef of the Year.
Finalists for 2018 Pastry Chef of the Year from NSW and ACT are:

- Nadine Ingram from Flour and Stone.
- Andy Bowdy from Saga.
- Natalie Van den Bosch from Le Bon Meleange (ACT).
- Ben Turner from La Sable Pastisserie (ACT).
Congratulations to all the finalists! More finalists, from the other states, will be announced at the other Mise en Place events as they occur around Australia. The winner will be announced in November 2018.
