Our Story — Who We Are

Apromo Trading has been operating in Sydney since 1987. Our core business is twofold:

  1. To supply high quality European Ingredients and semi – finished products to premium hotels, restaurants, patisseries, coffee shops and chocolatiers.

  2. To supply gourmet food and packaged confectionery to Australian and New Zealand department stores, quality confectionery retailers, independent grocers and delicatessens.

We are importers and distributors and operate from offices and warehouses in Sydney and Melbourne.

Our head office and main warehouse is at Rhodes in Sydney, NSW. From here we service the Sydney, ACT, regional NSW markets and interstate distributors. In 2011 the directors took the decision to establish a new branch to directly service the expanding Victorian market. A brand new warehouse was purchased in Sunshine West, its fit out customised to specifically cater to our needs, staff were hired and equipment purchased - and so Apromo Trading Victoria was born.

Both these facilities have been fitted out to our strict specifications in accordance with our safe food programmes and specific storage temperature requirements. From these premises we operate a fleet of refrigerated delivery vans.

We also have exclusive distribution through appointed wholesalers in other cities, including Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart. This network ensures we supply the entire Australian market. We import several temperature controlled containers each week, buying goods from Germany, France, Belgium, UK, Italy and other European countries. We consolidate the majority of our orders for sea shipment in Antwerp, Belgium, where we have our own warehousing at the port. We also prepare direct shipments from the UK and Italy as required.

We also arrange small airfreight shipments, mostly from Brussels airport, to maintain supply as part of our extensive service to customers. We believe this to be one of our key service strengths.

We currently purchase high quality products from over 60 manufacturers on an exclusive basis.

We have many years of international exposure and a wealth of experience interacting with overseas manufacturers. We enjoy a very high reputation with our Australian clients and have a deep understanding of the local market.

Notre histoire — Qui sommes nous

Apromo Trading a été fondée à Sydney en 1987. Notre activité principale peut être définie en deux points:

  1. Fournir des ingrédients européens de haute qualité ainsi que des produits semi-finis aux importants fabricants de chocolat, les grands hôtels, les restaurants et les pâtisseries.

  2. Fournir de l’épicerie fine, des produits gourmets et de la confiserie emballées aux grands magasins australiens et néo-zélandais, ainsi qu’aux détaillants de confiserie de qualité, aux magasins indépendants et “délicatessen”.

Nous sommes une société d’importation et de distribution. Actuellement, nous travaillons, sur base exclusive, avec plus de 60 fabricants.

Notre siège social et nos entrepôts principaux sont situés à Rhodes/Sydney. De là, nous assumons la distribution de nos produits sur Sydney et autres marchés régionaux de NSW, ACT et vers les distributeurs situés dans les autres états. En 2011, nous avons créé une nouvelle succursale dans l’état de Victoria, à Sunshine West/ Melbourne, pour répondre spécialement aux demandes d’un marché en plein essor. Un nouvel entrepôt a été acheté là-bas et aménagé d’après nos spécifications et besoin de températures; du personnel a été recruté et du matériel mis en place. C’est ainsi que Apromo Trading Victoria fut né.

Ces deux entrepôts, Sydney et Melbourne, ont été équipés en tenant compte des strictes spécifications de conformité aux programmes alimentaires de sécurité et aux exigences de température de stockage. A partir de ces entrepôts, nous effectuons nos livraisons à l’ aide de camions réfrigérés.

Nous assurons également une distribution exclusive vers des grossistes sélectionnés dans d’autres villes, y compris Brisbane, Adélaïde, Hobart, Perth ainsi que les régions de la Sunshine Coast et la Gold Coast. Ce réseau nous garantit la distribution sur le marché australien complet. Chaque semaine, nous réceptionnons de nombreux conteneurs réfrigérés venant d’Allemagne, de Belgique, de France, du Royaume Uni, d’Italie ou d’autres pays européens. La majorité de nos commandes expédiées par voies maritimes sont regroupées dans notre propre entrepôt au port d’Anvers en Belgique. Des expéditions directes venant du Royaume Uni et d’Italie sont aussi organisées en fonction de nos besoins.

Pour maintenir la fiabilité des approvisionnements de nos clients, de petites expéditions par fret aérien sont encore organisées, principalement de l’aéroport de Bruxelles. Nous pensons que ce service est notre point fort.

Unsere Geschichte — Wer sind wir?

Apromo Trading ist in Sydney seit 1987 in der Schokoladenbranche eingeführt. Unser Kerngeschäft ist zweifach:

  1. Lieferung von europäischen Zutaten hoher Qualität und Halbfertigprodukten an Australiens führende Schokoladenhersteller, Hotels und Konditoreien;

  2. Lieferung von Feinkostprodukten und verpackten Süßwaren nach Australiens und Neuseelands führenden Kaufhäusern, Qualitäts-Süßwarenhändlern, unabhängigen Lebensmittelhändlern und Delikatessengeschäften.

Wir sind Importeure und Verteiler. Unsere Büros und Lager befinden sich in Sydney und Melbourne. Unser Hauptsitz und Zentrallager liegt in Rhodes/Sydney. Von hier aus versorgen wir die Märkte von Sydney, der Staaten NSW, ACT und die “Interstate”-Verteiler.

Im Jahre 2011 traf die Direktion die Entscheidung, eine neue Zweigstelle im Staat Victoria zu eröffnen, um die Belieferung des sich dort ausdehnenden Marktes zu sicheren. Eine neue Lagerhalle wurde in Sunshine West gekauft, die Ausstattung entsprechend unseren Bedürfnissen vorgenommen, es wurden Ausrüstungen gekauft und Mitarbeiter eingestellt … so ist Apromo Trading Victoria entstanden.

Beide Einrichtungen in Sydney und Melbourne sind gemäß strengsten Vorschriften für unsere Safe Food Programme und für die erforderlichen Temperaturen und Kühlanlagen ausgestattet. Von diesen Räumlichkeiten aus beliefern unsere Kühllieferwagen unsere Kunden.

Durch die von uns ausgewählten Großhändler in anderen Städten, darunter Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth und Hobart geschieht auch ein exklusiver Vertrieb dorthin. Dies bedeutet, dass wir den gesamten australischen Markt erreichen.

Wir importieren jede Woche mehrere temperaturgeregelte Container mit Waren aus Deutschland, Frankreich, Belgien, Großbritannien, Italien und anderen europäischen Ländern. Die Mehrzahl unserer Aufträge für den Seetransport werden in Antwerpen/Belgien zentralisiert, wo wir über ein eigenes Warenlager am Hafen verfügen. Wir bereiten auch Direktlieferungen aus England und Italien.

Um unseren umfangreichen Service für unsere Kunden zu sichern, organisieren wir nach Bedarf kleinere Luftfrachtsendungen, meist ab dem Flughafen Brüssel. Wir sind überzeugt, dass diese Dienstleistung eine unserer Stärken ist. Derzeit beziehen wir auf exklusiver Basis qualitativ hochwertige Produkte von mehr als 60 Herstellern.

Apromo Trading fördert und betreibt eine nicht diskriminierende Beschäftigungspolitik. Unsere Belegschaft ist beständig, mehrsprachig und kulturell vielfältig. Auf diese Weise machen wir uns alle mit den Produkten und deren Endanwendung vertraut. Gerne teilen wir unser Wissen mit unserem Team und unseren Kunden. So helfen und unterstützen wir unsere Kunden häufig im sorgfältigen Umgang mit der empfindlichen Schokoladenverarbeitung. Unser Team besteht aus mehreren hochqualifizierten Köchen und Konditoren.

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir mit dem internationalen Markt vertraut und haben eine Fülle von Erfahrung mit den Herstellern aus Übersee. Wir genießen einen sehr guten Ruf bei unseren Kunden und haben eine tiefe Einsicht in den lokalen Markt.
