Typical Mediterranean pastry aroma, Lacrime d'Oro (golden tears) is made from the infusion and later distillation of numerous medicinal herbs (Angelica Archangelica, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, Coriander, etc.).

After long maceration, the infusions are fractionally distilled to separate the most aromatic components. Intense and persistent, typical flavour, slightly pungent and brilliant colour, these are the characteristics of Lacrime d'Oro , especially suited for almond-based pastries.
